ABOUT US

HI, I’M SEAN!
Lowe’s School of Music has been a cornerstone of the Junction’s arts scene since 1970. In 2023, after 10 years at the school as a piano and guitar teacher, I was given the opportunity to take over management of this wonderful, long-standing institution.
I started playing bass at the age of 11, and playing music quickly became a huge part of my identity. I got more serious as I entered high school, and joined my first band in grade 9. It felt great to meet like-minded, creative people who were more interested in playing music than going to the mall or playing football!
When people come to our school, we know how they feel. They want to play songs they love and feel the pride of achieving those goals!
At Lowe’s School of Music we help kids and adults, learn and perform the music they love.

Brenna McLane

Music was a big part of my life. Inspiration came from growing up listening to classical music and going to live symphony performances.
Always wanted to be part of an orchestra or ensemble. My musical experiences have broadened and I now play with Tapestry Opera premiering new works, and performing with the Canadian Iranian Orchestra.
