ABOUT US

CLAYTON IN HIS GLORY

HI I’M CLAYTON

I believe we all need to figure out where we fit in. For some it’s sports, for other it’s academics – for me, it’s music.

I grew up watching my dad play classical guitar, and was amazed at what he could do. I took lessons as a little guy, but the first time I heard Metallica on the radio, I knew I didn’t want to take classic guitar lessons! I got my first electric guitar for Christmas at the age of 12 and I never put it down.

Playing music quickly became a huge part of my identity. I got more serious as I entered high school, and started my first band in grade 10. It felt great to meet like-minded, creative people who were more interested in playing music than going to the mall or playing football!

When kids walk through our door (or through our virtual door) we know how they feel. They want to play songs they love and they don’t want to ‘study’ for ten years to make it happen.

I graduated from Humber College’s Bachelor of Contemporary Music program in ’09 and have pursued my passion for teaching music ever since. I’ve been running Lowe’s School of Music since 2014.

PERFORM TWO-SONGS LIKE A ROCKSTAR program was designed to get kids interested and excited about learning music.

At Lowe’s School of Music we help kids and adults, learn and perform the music they love.
